ABOUT ME
I’M JAY (KNOWN ONLINE AS SIVIANOX), A PRODUCER, LIGHTING TECHNICIAN, AND PHOTOGRAPHER FOCUSED ON BUILDING IMMERSIVE LIVE EXPERIENCES ACROSS DIGITAL END PHYSICAL SPACES.
I’VE ORGANISED MULTIPLE MINECRAFT SPEEDRUNNING (MCSR) TOURNAMENTS, INCLUDING A LAN EVENT THAT BROUGHT TOGETHER 150+ IN-PERSON SPECTATORS AND OVER 21,000 UNIQUE LIVESTREAM VIEWERS. ALONGSIDE THIS, I HAVE PRODUCED SEVERAL ONLINE SPEEDRUNNING EVENTS, INCLUDING CHARITY TOURNAMENTS DESIGNED TO BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER WHILE SUPPORTING MEANINGFUL CAUSES.
I’M CURRENTLY STUDYING TV PRODUCTION AT BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY, SPECIALISING IN PRODUCING AND LIGHTING. THROUGH THIS, I CREATE SHORT FILMS, FOCUSING ON VISUAL STORYTELLING, ATMOSPHERE AND TECHNICAL EXECUTION IN RECORDED FORMATS.
OUTSIDE OF ESPORTS AND PRODUCTION, I WORK AS A CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHER, PRIMARILY WITHIN THE ALTERNATIVE MUSIC SCENE, CAPTURING LIVE ENERGY AND UNMISSABLE MOMENTS. ACROSS ALL OF MY WORK, I’M DRIVEN BY ONE CORE GOAL: CREATING EXPERIENCES THAT AUDIENCES CAN ENGAGE WITH, REMEMBER, AND FEEL PART OF.

A LIVE MINECRAFT SPEEDRUNNING TOURNAMENT FEATURING 8 TOP RUNNERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD, COMBINING IN-PERSON COMPETITION WITH A FULL LIVESTREAM PRODUCTION. THE EVENT BROUGHT TOGETHER BOTH PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL AUDIENCES, CREATING A HYBRID ESPORTS EXPERIENCE FOCUSED ON COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCE.
THE GOAL WAS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT FELT BOTH COMPETITIVE AND CINEMATIC, BALANCING THE INTENSITY OF SPEEDRUNNING WITH AN ENGAGING LIVE VENUE EXPERIENCE.

MCSR X BEDWARS - APRIL 2026
MCSR X BEDWARS WAS A CROSSOVER COMPETITIVE EVENT, BRINGING TOGETHER A ROSTER OF MINECRAFT SPEEDRUNNERS AND PLACING THEM INTO A BEDWARS FORMAT, A GAMEMODE MANY PARTICIPANTS WERE NOT AT A HIGH SKILL LEVEL IN. THE GOAL WAS TO CREATE AN UNPREDICTABLE, ENTERTAINMENT-FOCUSED TOURNAMENT THAT BLENDED HIGH-LEVEL GAMEPLAY WITH EXPERIMENTAL STRUCTURE.
THE EVENT WAS BUILT AROUND THE IDEA OF REMOVING FAMILIARITY AND FORCING ADAPTATION. THE FORMAT ENCOURAGED IMPROVISATION, TEAMWORK, AND HUMOUR, RESULTING IN AN ENJOYABLE TOURNAMENT THAT BLENDED COMPETITIVE INTEGRITY WITH ENTERTAINMENT-DRIVEN DESIGN.
